Project Implementation Services
Our engagement typically involves a professional project manager and/or system analysts.These professional, K-12 savvy resources work for the district to manage the planning and operational aspects of the implementation project reporting directly to district staff. The Go IT Services team brings knowledge and expertise in the systems, processes, and data critical to the successful implementation and day-to-day operation of K-12 school systems.
Project Management
The Go IT Services project manager helps the district organize, plan, and execute its project-related activities. Our project manager will manage all interactions with the vendor ensuring the vendor’s deliverables meet the district’s requirement for functionality, quality, training, budget, and schedule. Our project managers understand K-12 SIS processes like enrollment, course selections, master scheduling, grading matrices, progress reporting and report card cycles, program and special population tracking, assessments, PEIMS and various federal and state reporting requirements. Our staff is also experienced with the issues and opportunities of providing parents, guardians, and students with access to student information. The Go IT Services project managers also understand Finance and HR processes and operations within a district environment such as Chart of Accounts structure and setup, requisitions, budgeting, general billing, vendor management, as well as time-keeping and payroll cycles.
System and Data Analysis
One or more Go IT Services system analysts may be deployed to help the district supplement and/or support its own IT personnel with various technical tasks required for the project. These may include sourcing and formatting of historical data for conversion into a new SIS or ERP, system related preparations, installations, configuration, maintenance, and data exchanges with external systems.
